How to donate plants for the Propagation Workshops
How: Donate clumps of plants from your garden and volunteers will pot them up at Gwen’s. Make sure each plant is labelled with the name of plant & cultivar, height, colour, and sun or shade.
When: Drop off your plants until March 22
Where: Marilyn Bryson’s house: 1502 133A St Surrey. (16 Avenue, south on 132B St, left on 14A Avenue, left on 133A Street)
Leave your plants on the tarp beside the driveway.
What: Our goal is to fill our sale with an impressive array of quality plants: ornamentals and edible, unusual and familiar, heritage and designer, tropical and hardy.
Please note that some plants are not recommended, namely, invasive plants such as lamium, ivy, and periwinkle. Click here for a full list of invasive plants not accepted for sale.
There is limited demand for irises and day lilies, but if you chose to donate these plants, you must list the species, colour and cultivar, on the tag.
If you have plants to donate, but can’t do it on the days listed, please contact Marilyn to make alternate arrangements.
