How to donate plants for the Potting Up Workshops
How: Donate clumps of plants from your garden and volunteers will pot them up at Bryan and Lois Williams’ garden.
Make sure each plant is labelled with the name of plant & cultivar, height, colour, and sun or shade.
When: Drop off your plants from March 18 to March 22
Where: Jane Goundrey’s house, 15545 Cliff Ave., White Rock.
Leave your plants inside the courtyard to the right (east) of the driveway. (photo below)
What: Our goal is to fill our sale with an impressive array of quality plants: ornamentals and edible, unusual and familiar, heritage and designer, tropical and hardy.
Please note that some plants are not recommended, namely, invasive plants such as lamium, ivy, and periwinkle.
Click here for a full list of invasive plants not accepted for sale.
There is limited demand for irises and day lilies, but if you choose to donate these plants, you must list the species, colour and cultivar, on the tag.
If you have plants to donate, but can’t do it on the days listed, please contact Jane to make alternate arrangements.
